Jonesie’s 7 Wonders of the World
My new bucket list: to see the 7 Wonders of the World.
Unfortunately there are apparently several “7 Wonders of the World” according to Wikipedia. There are the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, which have all been destroyed except for the Pyramid at Giza. There are the 7 Wonders of the Medieval World, which I think I’m favoring. There is currently a “New 7 Wonders of the World,” but I’m not a big fan because I think there are some important things missing. There are also the 7 Wonders of the Natural World, the 7 wonders of the Underwater World, etc. You get the picture.
In conclusion, I have decided to create my own list. There are some monuments that I have already seen and would consider wonder-worthy. Therefore, I will combine monuments from the Medieval 7 Wonders and the Modern 7 Wonders form….*drumroll*…

[ ] Great Pyramid at Giza
[X] Hagia Sophia
[ ] Great Wall of China (Soon, I hope…)
[ ] Taj Mahal
Disclaimer: I have had the fortune to have seen many other historical monuments not on list and still have others that I would like to see in addition to the list. I would also love to travel to each continent (with the exception of Antarctica). I’m 3/6 on that one.
